Global Warming has become one of the major reasons for concern over the years.
Yes, it was us humans that mistakenly gave birth to Global Warming but it is time that we are making efforts to stop it too because if we didn’t, our future generations will never be able to see some of the most beautiful aspects of our planet.
To back this up, the Bill Gates Foundation is funding a plan that has a huge chance of protecting our world from climate change.
In the proposal, the scientists have a claim to protect the climate change by collecting tons and tons of dust that they aim to transport 12 miles above the Earth surface and into space.
They will then sprinkle the dust covering the stratosphere – in a more technical manner than I have explained, for obvious reasons.
The massive project is not only beings supported by the millionaire philanthropist Microsoft founder but it is being worked on by scientists of Harvard University, one of the finest University in the World.
The aim of the project is for the dust to create a barrier that will send the sun rays back into space so that it can create a sunshade and reduce the effect of the sun in the process of Global Warming.
The experiment that is being planned is called ‘sky-clouding’ and it was supposed to take place months ago but has been delayed.
The initial testing of the experiment is going to cost $3 million which will use a huge hot air balloon kind technique to life 2 kgs of calcium carbonate dust in the atmosphere.
There is a risk that the experiment may cause a chain reaction of hurricanes and droughts and for the same, the experiment is on hold for now.
