China is under great threat.
The world is aware of how the coronavirus broke out in China and has infected thousands of people while killing hundreds of them.
But it looks like coronavirus is not the only virus China needs to be safe from.
Another breakout has happened and it is ‘Highly Pathogenic’ bird flu.
Yes, the virus is spreading and has hit the province of Hubei.
This virus is not affecting humans but farm birds and animals and it has already killed over 2000 fowls.
The agriculture authority announced that the incident happened on a farm after the fowls were found infected with the H5N6 strain.
The poultry farm is located in Sichuan Province.
This is not it, just 8 days ago, 4,500 chickens were reported as they were found with H5N1 virus infection on a farm located in Hunan province.
4 outbreaks alone in China’s Xinjiang were announced of H5N6 bird flu alone in the month of January and since the start of this month, the number of outbreaks has only grown.
The last outbreak that happened and was reported to happen in Sichuan Xichong county in Nanchong City, which is just at a distance of 12 hours away from Wuhan, the breeding ground of the coronavirus.
The farm that was home to 2,497 farm birds was found with 1,840 of them dead.
The local authorities then reached the farm and culled the dead bodies of all the chickens to carefully put their bodies in the disposal.
It is not declared by the authority that the outbreak happened on which day but it is clear that it happened just a couple days ago and was spread throughout.
The authority says the infection was spread by a bug to the chicken and now it is spread all over, turning into a dead land for the birds.
