A woman who had gone to a library to take some time for herself and to catch up on a few things she had to study about was left stunned as she only went in for a couple of hours.
When she came out of the library a burning smell was coming out of her car and she could even hear a strange voice coming from the car too.
Holly Persic, who lives in Pittsburgh in the US with her husband, had known something was wrong as the smell was coming out of her car but she had no idea it would be this.
As she had parked her car outside the library she could smell it in the air. She came out and opened her bonnet and was left stunned.
A family of squirrels had done a great job with finding and storing food and warmth for the winters but they chose the wrong place for storage. Holly found hundreds of walnuts and grass clams in her bonnet.
She had called her husband Chris to ask what is the smell all about and he asked her to check the bonnet. A couple of seconds later she sent him a picture of the bonnet filled with nuts.
He went to the spot instantly and it took the couple an hour to take out as many nuts and clams as they could. They then took the vehicle to the mechanics who then cleaned it thoroughly. Fortunately, the car was not harmed.
Chris made fun of how the squirrels would have been planning this for a long time because they were awfully fast.
After checking his car, he found a few nuts and clamps in there too. What a weird choice of place for the squirrels, isn’t it?
