Racism has been prevalent in our society for quite a long time.
People never fail to disappoint the mankind by promoting racism in the world.
It was backlash for all the racists who discriminate against people because their skin color, when recently a South Africa beauty, Zozibini Tunzi, was crowned Miss Universe on Sunday night.
It was for the first time that all the major four beauty pageants, including Miss America, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss Universe, were bagged by four black women.
It was a moment of celebration when Zozibini was crowned Miss Universe. Her win clearly stated that beauty has nothing to do with skin color.
Giving an interview to a magazine after the win Tunzi, 26 said that she is happy she could make a difference in the racism culture by her win.
She added that they belong to a racially divided world, and it a struggle to leave all that behind and bag space in the mainstream world.
Tunzi further said that she dedicates her title to all the black women who are constantly dealing with the racism issues and have been struggling to find their way out.
Tunzi’s win is a combined win of all the black women who have suffered racism in their life. Everyone is talking to their social media platform to celebrate the win of these black beauties.
Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey also expressed their elation on their social media by congratulating Tunzi and other women who have bagged the other three titles.
The Miss Universe told GMA that young girls should be taught to live their dreams and never compromise in the name of racism.
After her win, Tunzi has pledged to bring a change in racism with her work. Even in her final speech touched the judges when she talked about leadership among women.
