Have you ever observed strange, black spots on change tables in public restrooms? It turns out they are far more ominous than we thought.
A US mom has shared a warning about the strange marks, claiming the scuff marks are the result of drug use. Posting to Facebook, Jessica Wayman from Indiana shared a photo of the marked change table with a caution for parents. She wrote, before laying your babies anywhere near these things, make sure to clean them down first – even if you are running late, even if you have a sheet to lay down.
Wayman explained the black marks easily visible are from burnt spoons.
Addicts use these change tables when they are hooked up.There could be deposits from meth/heroin whatnot and other unsafe bodily fluids.
She said if somebody does not care about themselves, you bet, they are not thinking about your babies. You have to be cautious. Since Jessica posted the Public Service Announcement over the weekend, the warning to parents across the globe has been shared over 134,000 times. While many parents appreciated Jessica for sharing the warning, others claimed the mother was cooking up the information and fear-mongering parents on the internet.
Later, she went on to admit that she herself is a recovering addict and told the users that the scuff marks on the changing tables in public washrooms are nothing but marks left by the drug addicts when they shoot up.
This is the main reason why she made this post in the first place, to caution the gullible parents who would never think something like this when placing their babies on changing tables. She added, apart from the addicts using the changing tables while they shoot up, they are often used to crush or bust the drugs out.
The issue of addicts using public change tables for drug abuse has been proved in the past, and the results were disturbing.
