In the world we are living in today, people are motivating and getting motivated to open up to new ideas, new cultures, technologies, and what not.
They are also bringing up some old and abandoned things we humans have left behind in time. One of such things that should have been cleared out thousands of years ago, something that should never have been against law needed our attention.
Yes, I am talking about the law on homosexuality. They are humans just like we are and they are allowed to love whoever their heart wishes for but this has not been allowed to the community by the law of almost every country although nature gave them this right.
But now, after years of struggle and so much awareness spread all around, the community has been receiving their rights back in various parts of the world. But there still are a few places where homosexuality is still treated as a legal offence.
Beautician Jordan Shannon was invited to the show Blind Date where the contestants are allowed to go on a blind date which is a holiday trip and for the same, he chose male model Jesse Drew.
It was the very first time that a gay couple was on the show and they decided to take a trip to West Indies’s Saint Lucia.
They had the best trip planned in their mind with beaches and pools all around but they did not know that homosexuality is illegal on the island.
The lady at their hotel told them that homosexually getting involved with anyone is a punishable offense on the island and has a punishment of 10 years in jail if found in an uncomfortable situation.
The couple made out of the island without falling into any kind of charges. But they were not happy with the team of the show for putting them in such a situation.
