There were a lot of Chileans dressed in colorful zombie costumes.
The made-up the costumes by torn clothes and used wigs. They entirely took over the streets of Santiago. This took place during the 10th yearly zombie walk.
Adding to the information, the walk started from Los Heroes subway. It was encouraged by the U.S. television show “The Walking Dead”.
You will notice there were thousands of people from different kinds of age groups. It was mostly young people. It was also fun observing the kind of clothes they were wearing. It was all painted with red to denote ‘blood’. The faces were painted white in order to give a ghastly look.
The Zombie walk was originated from North America around the 2000s. It has become a tradition now. People from Latin America and Europe also got inspired by the walk and the tradition started to take place there also.
The walk is purely based on entertaining people. It also promotes the charitable cause. All of it takes place two weeks prior to Halloween. The costumes used in the walk are likely to be found outside of Hollywood. The whole idea is to scare people with the zombie appearance.
It happens to be one of the greatest events in Latin America, North America, and Europe. In some places, you will also find the city celebrating the annual Day of the Dead.
It was also observed that in Mexico, there were around 10,000 people who took part in the walk and dressed up themselves accordingly. It was also marked as the greatest zombie walk in the world.
