The United States of America is by far the hardest-hit nation in the world with coronavirus.
More than 900,000 people have been affected and several thousand have lost their lives.
The times are extremely tough for the nation as the number of cases continues to rise around the nation.
At such point of time, it is the health care workers who are trying to keep the country on its feet by working every single day, terribly hard in 12-18 hours of shifts only to save as many lives as they can.
The pandemic is nowhere near stopping as it continues to affect several cities and states in the nation.
To show a collective and collaborative salute to the frontline fighters of the country, the Air Force and Navy have decided to come together.
Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, and Air Force’s Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds have decided to come together and fly over several cities of the nation to pay their tribute, as announced by the department of defense.
Air Force staff Chief, Gen. Dave Goldfein, and Adm. Michael Gilday, Chief of the staff of Naval Operations came together at the press release.
They said “we are very excited to fly over several American cities where the fight is still intact.
We are going to pay our tribute and salute to frontline workers and people who are still working in banks, grocery shops, and everywhere else where their service is vital. It is our pleasure to be able to do this.”
The flyover will take place every alternate day until the mid of May.
The first stops to be set for the flyovers are New York City, Trenton, Newark, and Philadelphia as per the information released by the Blue Angel’s Instagram profile.
