Whales are the biggest mammals in the world, and it’s incredible to watch these amazing creatures.
Recently, a big blue whale turns the water bright yellow in colour after opening up its bowels off at the coast of Australia.
Ian Wiese, who is a landscape photographer, was filming a video at the Point Picquet, South of Perth and the Blue whale was migrating towards the coastline.
The monitoring team recorded the movements of the whale with the help of drones.
Wiese said that they film these videos to observe and verify the numbers, and they also have a permit to fly drones within the 200-meter area surrounding the big whales.
He further said that they just noticed the whale when he started minding his own business, but it was surprising for all of them to see the bright yellow poo come out.
Mr Wiese said that the whales have pinkish-red coloured poo because of the type of krill that they have, but this whale had bright yellow coloured poo which was totally surprising.
The team is assuming that the whales must have found some other species of krills. As the whales are still endangered, it is essential to have such type of footage to understand life.
The poo of a whale is important for the oceans as they create pastures for other small fishes and krill to feed on.
The poo also helps in other sources for marine life. The yellow coloured poo really makes the whale stand out. Watch the fantastic video to check out the bright yellow streak that the whale left in the ocean.
