Marvel doesn’t seem to end surprising its fans.
This time Rob Liefeld announced on Twitter about another movie’s part coming soon. Which series, you may ask? No, it’s not a Marvel original.
Recently, a fan asked Rob about Deadpool 3 to which he replied in a tweet that it would totally happen, soon. It seems like the fans do not have to wait for long to see Ryan Reynolds in his red lycra suit in the anti-hero series.
Although this is not the first time Rob talked about the film, he has earlier revealed that Deadpool 3 will happen. He wrote about Deadpool 3 happening in some form or fashion.
He further called the series is the most valuable asset, making more than X-Men films, in the $60 billion deal between Disney and Fox.
Ryan Reynolds, the lead actor of the film, however said in the past that he was not very sure about how things would shape up after the merging of the studios.
He said he had no idea about Deadpool’s future but read a headline about Bob Iger feeling that there was plenty of room to have a rated-R character like Deadpool in the universe.
He added that Disney would not buy Fox to dismantle it but to add to its arsenal.
The director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, also had something to say about the possibility of Deadpool 3. He commented that if he would be approached to make the movie, he would definitely do so.
He further added that he hopes that after the merger, Deadpool makes it. Talking about his vision, he said that he had a lot of ideas but would not reveal any of them and was waiting to share his crazy ideas with the makers once they approach him.
