Horrifying news coming in this morning from Hawaii where a Boeing 737 jet has reportedly crashed into the sea off Honolulu.
According to local media outlets, a Transair Flight 810 which departed from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport was on its way to Maui and that’s when it crashed during the early morning hours of Friday. The Boeing 737 was a cargo plane that had two pilots on board when it went down into the water, near West Oahu.
Early reports explain how the plane went down after it reportedly experienced some major engine trouble. Thankfully, the US Coast Guards managed to airlift one of the two pilots while rushing him to a nearby hospital. On the other hand, a rescue boat has reportedly transported the other pilot towards the shore.
One of the pilots is said to have suffered from massive injuries relating to his head region followed by a series of cuts, right before he was hospitalized in critical condition.
The plane crashed just two miles away from the airport, at about 1:45 am local time. Records from the FAA reveal how the plane was constructed in the year 1975 and was an integral part of the fleet from Transair since the year 2014.
Officials from Queen’s Medical Center where the crewmen are being treated claim that the pilot who had been airlifted was 58 years old in age and was being treated for his severe injuries at the hospital’s intensive care unit.point 314 |

While investigations into the case continue, some media reports explain how the pilots experienced major engine trouble and hence made a quick attempt to turn back to Honolulu and that’s when they realized they had no other option but to make a forceful landing in water.
