A boy with autism has gone viral after racking up the courage to sing ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’ in front of dozens of shoppers while standing in the middle of the store.

10-year-old Calum Courtney has always been a fan of Smokey Robinson and, in particular, his song called Who’s Loving You.

Since Calum loves singing, he came up with his own rendition of the famous song and took to the stage of Asla supermarket to share his talent.

After the boy started singing, dozens of people gathered behind his proud mother to watch the performance.

Following the mini-concert, the recording of Calum singing went viral and caught the attention of a music producer and writer who proposed to create a charity single with the boy.

According to the 10-year-old boy’s mother, Tupney Courtney, Calum always sings whether they are at home, in the car, or just walking outside.

“He did not realize how good he was until he saw the video, he said: ‘Mum, I’m actually really good,’” Tupney said.

“Calum has high functioning autism. For Calum this means blurred social boundaries, struggles with school and difficulties with friendships, but also that enables him to have no fear to get up and belt out a song.”

Calum is now performing on local stages to promote charity and autism research. He also has big plans for the future and doesn’t plan on slowing down any time soon!
