A 3-year-old boy has legally changed his gender to a girl after moving in with foster parents who have a transgender child of their own.
As the young boy’s school pointed out, the boy started arriving at the school in female clothes after he moved in with his foster parents.
The parents, only known as TP and CP, have a child of their own who transitioned from boy to girl when he hit seven years old.
Despite the teachers telling the parents not to dress the 3-year-old in girl’s clothing, the foster parents continued to do what they believed was best for their son, now daughter.
Following the incident, the social services of Lancashire County Council launched an investigation to come to the bottom of allegations claiming the parents “manipulated” their kids into changing gender and causing “significant emotional harm.”
Despite the allegations, the couple was pardoned by a High Court judge who said CP and TP are “good parents” who do what’s best for their children.
“The evidence from almost all sources of how the children are prospering in the care of CP and TP provides very powerful support to the contention that CP and TP are good parents,” Justice Williams said.
“The lives of the family should now proceed on the basis that those concerns were comprehensively dispelled as a result of the inquisitorial process that has been undertaken.
“I observed during the course of the hearing that issues relating to gender identity and the medical understanding of such issues is complex and developing.”
According to the reports, the couple’s third foster child and fifth child in total transitioned to a female at the age of three while their youngest birth child transitioned at the age of seven.
Following the children’s alleged transitions, the parents immediately took steps to make the change legally binding and set up the kids’ new identities.
