Theo Treharne-Jones, from Cefn Coed, near Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, is thought to have wandered from his hotel room to the pool area while his parents were asleep.

It’s being speculated that the boy jumped into the pool and no one was there to rescue him at the moment.

A woman rushed to the spot and performed CPR on Theo, but he had already died by that time.

Theo’s parents and a hotel manager were arrested following the incident.

The Greek police suspected them of man-slaughtering and endangering the life of a minor with neglect.
