You must have remembered a time when you were a kid and you quickly got bored. You could have all the toys and games that you want but you’ll still end up getting bored for whatever reason. Perhaps it’s the fact that you already know your toys and your games so well and part of growing up involves exploring and discovering something new.
While a child exploring the world around him/her is certainly a valid way to learn something, it also provides a lot of opportunities for chaos and hilarity especially if the child has a naughty nature or just doesn’t understand what’s happening.
The following video is an example of that.
The little guy apparently got bored and decided it would be a good idea to play with his father’s electric razor. The result was half-baked (literally!) as the front part of the young boy’s hair was shaved off leaving the crown and back will a full shock of hair.
That’s because the boy’s arms were still too short so he couldn’t reach beyond his crown!Instead of freaking out and flying off the rails at finding out what his son had done, this dad decided to record the little guy’s apology for posterity (and to probably play it again should he think of doing something naughty again). The toddler can be heard saying, “I’ll never touch daddy’s razor again,” and you can’t help but giggle at the boy’s contrite tone considering the hideous haircut that can’t be reversed.
With a little more prodding from the dad, the boy adds, “I’m sorry!” and that’s the end of that. Perhaps the video will surface again much later in life perhaps in the boy’s wedding reception as part of a gaffe video or something.
But while this incident had a hilarious outcome, it’s also a sobering lesson about the potential catastrophe that could happen if you take your eyes off your toddler. Child-proofing a house, while tedious and inconvenient, can definitely prevent a lifetime of regret later on.
As for the boy in the video, he certainly looked and acted like he learned his lesson well and will probably leave hair-cutting to a professional barber next time around.
