A 9-year-old boy with dwarfism fell ill with a mystery illness but special gifts from Florida quickly cheered him up.

Quaden Bayles first made headlines when his mother Ms. Bayles shared a heartbreaking video of him after kids bullied him at school.

In the viral video, the young boy told his mother: “Give me a rope, I want to kill myself,” adding, “I just want to stab myself in the heart… I want someone to kill me.”

He then scratched at his neck and told his mother: “I want to die. I want to scratch myself.”

The clip quickly went viral, and the 9-year-old boy has since been inundated with support from musicians, sportspeople and celebrities from all over the world.

The schoolboy recently fell ill with a mystery illness. Ms. Bayles filmed her excited son opening a package from Florida and it immediately cheered him up.

“It’s what I’ve been waiting for this whole time,” Quaden expressed while sitting on a couch.

“Wow, who’s that?” Ms. Bayles asked his son. “Trae Young,” he answered while showing his new sports jersey with the popular basketball player’s team, the Atlanta Hawks, printed on the front.

“What’s the other one?” his mother asked. “Kevin Durant,” he excitedly replied before holding up the second jersey.

Ms. Bayles wrote in the caption that the very special gifts made her son feel so much better.
