TV presenter David Campbell’s 4-year-old son Billy believes that he is the ‘reincarnation’ of the late Princess Diana.
Campbell shared more details about Billy’s fascination with the princess who passed away in a car crash in 1997.
He explained that he and his wife tested Billy’s knowledge of Diana’s life and he incredibly passed!
David shared: “We did a test. We put up [pictures of] all these castles – like Balmoral [and] Windsor – and we said, ‘Which one of these ones was your Balmoral Castle?’
“And he was like, ‘That one!’”
David said that his son pointed at the Scottish castle where Princess Diana and her family loved to visit. Aside from that, Billy also told his parents that spirits came and took him away every night and returned him back ‘by morning.’
“When Billy was not sleeping very well as a baby, Lisa went in and asked him why. Billy replied, ‘Because they come and take me’,” he said.
“When Lisa asked who, Billy pointed to the roof and said, ‘They do, but they bring me back by morning’.”
David, also a father to 4-year-old Betty and 9-year-old Leo, first mentioned Billy’s supernatural encounters in an interview with Stellar magazine.
He said at that time: “It started when someone gave my wife Lisa, a card with Lady Di on it. Billy [then aged two] pointed and said, ‘Look! It’s me when I was a princess’.”
The couple were left stunned again when their son accurately described the Balmoral residence to their friends who came by to visit.
They had no idea how Billy could’ve gotten such knowledge about the Royal family as they do not talk about the British monarchy at home.
When Billy turned 4, he was still insisting that he was ‘once a princess.’ That’s when his parents questioned him further about his ‘previous life.’
“Who else was in your family when you were a princess?” Billy replied: “I have brothers and sisters. I have a brother called John.”
David and Lisa turned pale after an internet search revealed that Diana had a brother named John who passed away as a child in 1960, one year before she was born.
