Bailey Molinar was unable to make friends at her new school. The kids at her school used to bully and mock her.
7-year-old Evan Martinez was her only friend at her new school.
One day, two girls told Bailey that they didn’t want to be her friends and would no longer play with her.
Bailey called Evan and asked her to come over as she had a bad day at school.
When Evan came to know what happened that day at school, he asked his mom, Ruby Jimenez to drive him to Bailey’s house.
He also decided to put a smile on her face and practiced a song for Bailey in his mother’s car.
When they arrived at Bailey’s house, near El Paso, Texas, Evan got out of the car and started singing the song for his best friend who was waiting for outside her house.
He sang the song to cheer up his friend. Evan instantly brought a smile on Bailey’s face who had a rough day at school.
Evan told Fox News about their friendship: “She didn’t have any friends when she came to this school. Then I actually became her friend, and then randomly we became best friends.”
Bailey said: “He’s always protected me, even when we first met. I just thought that he’ll never let me go.”
Evan’s mother shared the heart-melting video on Facebook which instantly went viral.
One user commented on the video: “Aww how cute, it made me cry. I wish I had a best friend like that. He has a good heart. Hope they stay friends for life.”
Another said: “That is so precious. What a sweet little boy.”
Bailey’s great-grandmother also commented on the video. She wrote: “My great-granddaughter is one lucky girl to have such a great friend and his family in her life. I think she will have a beautiful memory of this day. God bless them both.”
