This brave 5 years old boy from Georgia saved his family from the fire and he was made an honorary firefighter.
On Tuesday, a Facebook post-Bartow County Fire Department shared a post that a 5 years old Noah Woods saved his baby sister and their dog from the fire that burned out in their house.
As per the firefighter, Noah was sleeping in his room that he shared with his 2 years old younger sister.
He woke up because of the smoke and flames that were burning the house.
Authorities said that the little boy worked extremely impressively.
As soon as he saw flames and smoke, he jumped out of his window.
He then grabbed his sleeping sister and got out of the window which was the only escape place available to him.
As soon as he was able to put his sister on the safer side, he jumped back in the room to rescue their dog too, who was still in the room.
When all of the three were out, the kid rent to the next-door neighbor who was his uncle.
He told him about the situation and then they came to rescue the entire family.
As per the firefighting department, the Woods family’s 7 members suffered from minor fire burns and smoke inhalation was taken to the hospital.
The little champ saved his entire family and for the heroic deed he did, he is being honored. He is being awarded a bravery award and made an honorary by the Bartow County firefighter department.
The department said, “We have come around cases where kids were aware enough to alert the adults at home but a 5 years old actually saving the entire family is a great act.”
