It was a beautiful evening in Baxter, Minnesota.
A dad of two, Christopher Groenwold, was spending a happy time with his two kids including his daughter Haven, 6, and son Cohen, 4, in a dead-end street outside their house. Right at that moment, the mailman arrived and Cristopher reached him quickly to grab his mail. He turned to his home and all of a sudden his heart trembled as he looked back to the mail truck bumping onto his little boy.
He started praying inside his heart, even though he didn’t know what he was praying for but one thing was for sure that he needed prayer. In the next moment when he saw his little kid between the truck’s axel, his prayer converted to ‘God please have your hand on my kid.’
He ran towards Cohen who was screaming with pain but still wearing his little helmet and quickly placed him on his lap.
Fortunately, being a firefighter and a medical emergency trained individual, Groenwold was able to give his son some initial medical aid until the ambulance arrived.
Cohen was moved to the Essential Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center by North Memorial Ambulance, where Rebecca Groenwold was also working.Luckily Cohen has only left with some minor injuries and soreness thanks to the little helmet on his head which saved him from any severe head injuries.
Mr.
and Mrs. Groenwold accepts that if Christopher didn’t put the helmet on his child’s head a couple of minutes ago, they won’t be able to watch him playing today right in front of their eyes. They believe that the helmet saved their son’s life and they want others to know it too so that the other parents can also make sure their kids are wearing their helmets on.SHARE this miraculous article with your friends and family.
