The 6-year-old boy who became famous after his hilarious video went viral has now passed away.
Antwain Fowler was an adorable young lad who rose to fame after asking “where we ‘bout to eat at?” in a viral video recorded by his mom.
It has now been revealed that the boy had passed away after a long battle with autoimmune enteropathy, a rare condition that causes intractable diarrhea.
According to the boy’s family, little Antwain was diagnosed with the illness five years ago. Throughout the years, he was hospitalized on numerous occasions and underwent 25 surgeries before succumbing to his condition.
“The pain in my heart is unlike no other WHY GOD! Never in a million years My heart is out my chest!!!!” the boy’s mother wrote in a post shared on her son’s account as she confirmed the grim news on November 21.
The devastating news comes months after Antwain’s family started a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the boy’s treatment.
“Antwain Lee Fowler was diagnosed with Auto-immune Enterapothy in July of 2015. AIE is a rare immune deficiency disorder that attacks your intestines,” they previously wrote.
“Antwain has been hospitalized a countless number of times due to his poor health condition. Antwain has undergone over 25 surgeries. Like normal infants Antwain was unable to drink milk, or eat solid foods during his earlier childhood.
“The first four years of Antwain’s life was an everlasting fight, and very crucial experience for his family. Through unlimited prayers, faith, and doctors working around the clock Antwain is progressively healing; and truly grateful for all that he’s accomplished thus far.”
Our thoughts are with Antwain’s family during these challenging times.
