When the lucky person catches the bride’s bouquet, this traditionally means that she will be the next one to marry.

Nathan Jordan immediately ran for the hills when his 20-year-old girlfriend, Haley Marie Skipworth, caught the flowers which scared off her partner into jumping into his car.
The funny moment was filmed at a wedding in Alabama on September 14 has been viewed more than 11 million times on Facebook.
The video shows Haley eagerly catching the flowers and as soon as she got a hold of the bouquet, everyone turned to look at her boyfriend.
All the attention went to Nathan who quickly ran for his life and jumped over all obstacles. He unlocked his car and drove away.
“My boyfriend and I attended our best friend’s wedding. When it came time for the bouquet toss, I was front and center ready to catch the bouquet,” Haley expressed.
“When my boyfriend, Nathan, saw that I did in fact catch it, he decided to make a run for it, jumping over every obstacle in his way and leaving nothing but dust as he sped down the road.”
She added: “Some say he ran out of there as fast as he could because he wasn’t ready to tie the knot. Others say he ran to buy a ring.
“In reality, he did return right away. We have been dating for five years and plan to get married after college.”
Sharing the video on Facebook, Haley captioned the footage: “Always the bridesmaid, never the bride…. swipe to see why.”
Her post received more than 50,000 shares and over 1,500 reactions. One person commented: “I just wish the video was extended to see him peel out leaving nothing but dust in the wind! Such a funny moment!”
Another wrote: “That was the funniest thing I ever saw!”
A third said: “We all know he will be back in a flash.”
