Brad Pitt Got Teary-Eyed After Surprising His Makeup Artist With Her Dream Home Renovation


Brad Pitt got emotional while assisting his longtime makeup artist, Jean Black, with an amazing home renovation.

During the episode of Celebrity IOU, from HGTV the Property Brothers were joined by Brad surprising Jean with her dream home renewal.

In the premiere episode, the 56-year-old star helps Scott brothers to renovate the guesthouse of his longtime friend and makeup artist, Jean Black.

He doesn’t bother to get his hands dirty and that is the reason Jonathan and Drew Scott praised the star calling him down to earth. Jonathon said, “He wanted everybody to feel like he was spending some time getting to know them. And at the very end he remembered every single person’s name on the production crew and on the construction crew.”

“He remembered everybody and wanted to make sure that they knew how grateful he was for what was happening. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.”

Brad got teary-eyed after showing the final result to his friend and team member. Drew added that they are glad people can witness the celebrities in their true self through this show.

He said, “I love that we’re giving people a chance to see these big, big celebrities in a way that they’ve never been seen before.”

“It’s seeing the emotional side of them, being with people who they’ve connected within their life. A lot of the time, you only get to see them as artists singing or acting in a show, but you never get to see them in real life and how they are and how they interact.”

The brothers promised people are going to cry and laugh seeing the episodes of the series. “You’re going to cry more with this series than you’ve ever cried before,” Jonathan told PEOPLE. “But you’re also going to laugh!”

“For us, it’s really important to bring some measure of positivity into people’s lives,” Drew said. “HGTV has been touted as a safe haven and I think we all need a bit of that in our lives right now.”
