A source has spoken out and claimed that Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk couldn’t save their relationship because the 44-year-old actor was “emotionally absent” while shooting A Star Is Born with Lady Gaga.
According to the People, a source told them the couple who share one child “tried to save the relationship but it had changed.”
Following their turbulent relationship, Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk split up following four years of marriage.
The news spread like wildfire after the 33-year-old supermodel was seen carrying a suitcase while walking towards her limo in L.A.
According to the claims of sources, Irina “moved out of Bradley Cooper’s home as their relationship hangs by a thread.”
As the People reported, the couple is “amicably working out how to share custody of their daughter” after deciding to officially bring their relationship to an end.
“Things are cooling off between Bradley and Irina in a big way,” a source said in an interview with The Sun after Irina was spotted leaving the couple’s $4.5 million mansion weeks ago.
The break-up follows months after Cooper and Lady Gaga set crowds on fire with their erotic performance in A Star Is Born.
Following their intense and emotional performance, the internet quickly suggested that there’s something more cooking up between the main stars of the film.
“The stories about Irina being sick of Gaga have some truth to them – it’s not that she dislikes Gaga or is jealous of her, but she’s sick of the constant stories about her ‘close’ relationship to Bradley,” The Sun’s insider claimed at the time.
“It’s undeniable that Gaga and Bradley have chemistry – they have a lot more in common that Irina and Bradley – but that’s why the movie worked.”
As other sources explained, the co-actors were “very, very close” at the Friday’s CAA party following Academy Awards “even though her ex-fiancé was there in the same room but keeping his distance…”
“Gaga and Bradley were cozied up on a sofa… They were inseparable, and people definitely thought it was weird,” the source added, explaining that Irina was on the sofa with Bradley’s mother while he was busy chatting with Gaga.
