A brave teen, Savannah Jones, in Montclair, California was tasked to babysit her 4-year-old niece Zoyee.
After a few hours, someone started to knock on their front door. Knowing that her mom was still at work, she did not open it.
Savannah Jones quietly crept up to the peephole to see who was knocking on the door as it became persistent. When she checked, she saw a man she had never seen before.
That’s when the 14-year-old jumped into action. Savannah quickly picked up her niece, and they silently hid in the bathroom. She also instructed Zoyee not to open the door or make a peep.
While hiding in the bathroom, Savannah sent a message to her mom Maria, explaining what was happening at the moment. Her mother panicked on the other line, and then she heard a banging sound.
The mysterious man kicked the front door and barged into their house.
Savannah told her mom she was so scared that the intruder might hear them, but she was more worried about her niece’s safety. No one could imagine how helpless and horrified Maria felt while talking to her daughter.
When Suspect entered the house, he searched through and stole belongings. Meanwhile, the girls were hiding in the other bathroom.
“I kept staring at the door and hoping he wouldn’t try to open it” Savannah Said. Fortunately, the suspect left without knowing the girls were in the house.
Can anyone imagine How Scared this little girl was at that time? This happened March of 2017, and People are still remembering how brave Savannah Was! Also, Hoping that the suspect was arrested by now!
