A woman has opened up about her brief encounter with a man that looks like wanted person Brian Laundrie.
Shortly after Gabby Petito’s disappearance in late August, the van-life girl’s fiancé and boyfriend Brian Laundrie went missing on September 14 after refusing to cooperate with law enforcement.
Since then, the FBI has issued a federal arrest warrant for the 23-year-old person of interest after finding out that he used a debit card that wasn’t his just days after his girlfriend had been reported missing.
Now, a flight attendant spoke out and claimed that she may have seen Laundrie storming out of a hotel in Toronto, Canada, The Sun reported.
As the woman revealed in her viral TikTok video posted via @cwlynn, she was staying at the Toronto establishment on September 20 when she spotted a man resembling Laundrie while picking up food delivery from the lobby of the hotel.
According to the young lady, the man she saw appeared “flustered,” whereas the hotel staff allegedly told her that “he didn’t know where he was going and he had the wrong hotel” after she told them about the man’s resemblance to the missing person Brian Laundrie.
After the encounter, the unidentified man reportedly took off in a car with another man.
“I’m not sure if this looks like him or if I just fell too far down the rabbit hole. You can see the dip in his moustache and the ears are bent down [in her photo], but my ears bend down when I wear a face mask,” @cwlynn said in her video as she compared Brian’s picture with the photo she had taken.
She added: “It looked so much like him – it made me feel really nauseous because I’ve never seen him in person, like many of you haven’t, and this is exactly how I imagined he would look.
“I did inform the hotel and the employees at the hotel didn’t have any idea about the case, which was concerning.”
As the flight attendant added, the staff eventually took down the information. Meanwhile, she informed the local media about the encounter and reached out to the FBI via email.
