You have got to see it to believe it – this bricklayer lays, in perfect order, 90 bricks in a minute.
He seems to be indifferent of the camera shooting him as he continues to lay brick at an ungodly pace, handling four bricks in each of his hands. They are actual bricks that weigh in at around 2kg each, not LEGOs.
The video from Essex, UK shows Kyaal laying down bricks on a driveway with incredible speed and accuracy.
Seeing him work, laying eight bricks and turning back to grab eight more in a cyclic manner looks like he is rather performing a delicate dance step than laying heavy bricks.
True professionalism can be seen through the way one does their work.
It takes a long time, effort and hard work to achieve perfection in what you do. Still, manual labor is highly under-appreciated and under-compensated in most of the world.
But once you master your art, you can select whatever job you like. That’s the key to success. And Kyaal here, is the best example of that.
Some of the viewers of the video have commented that the man is not paying heed to occupational health and safety.
People have the opinion that he’s lacking lumbar protection, judging from the angle he is bent at to do the work. He doesn’t even rest and continues to be in the not-so-good posture.
On the other hand, there were people adoring the skill he is exhibiting, with a portion of them even wanting to join the same profession.
Kyaal is totally involved with his job, with every last cell of his body. It looks like he doesn’t even breathe while he’s at it. The job is, no doubt, a hard and demanding one but this man looks like he is enjoying every bit of it.
Anyone can tell from the speed and perfection of his moves that Kyaal is best at what he does.
It looks like he’s determined to break his own record in bricklaying. The way he moves back and forth, picking up and laying down the bricks, it is obvious that he is having a good time doing a difficult job.
It looks like he is a child playing with LEGO bricks because his speed is just incomprehensible.
Kyaal and a child playing with Lego share one common thing – they both are not bound to produce any specific end result, as they are only limited by their imagination. They are the ones who decide the pace and design of what they are doing.
