A bridezilla has been slammed after her insane request and obnoxious response to her friend made rounds on the internet.
The bride in question sparked a major online debate after asking her friend to bake a massive four-tier wedding cake for ‘only’ 300 people just days prior to the big event.
“Hey I know it’s last minute but would you be able to make a wedding cake by noon on Sunday?” the bride wrote in her message to her friend.
After the friend offered to try and make something by Sunday, the bride-to-be shocked her by showing her a picture of a massive four-tier cake for reference.
“Something like this but not to [sic] big. I’m only expecting 300 people,” the bridezilla wrote.
After her friend said she wouldn’t be able to fulfill her request, the bride appeared to mock her by suggesting she was a beginner.
“Ok I understand,” the bride responded. “Are you sure? On TV they complete bigger cakes than this in a short time. Are you a beginner?”
After the screenshot of the conversation appeared on the Facebook page called ‘That’s It I’m Wedding Shaming’, people were quick to defend the baker and slam the bride for being “rude” and making “unreasonable” requests.
“As a baker, I can guarantee this is probably real, and I bet she was going to offer to pay her a ‘generous’ $200 for her last-minute hard work,” one person suggested.
“As a fellow wedding vendor (photographer, not baker) I’ve had my share of clients like this and just want to slap this woman. Like seriously,” another one wrote.
One person said: “I wish this wasn’t common. The former wedding planner in me knows it is.”
