The moment a groom sees his bride in her wedding dress is a really special one.
But for Logan Martin from Kentucky, this once-in-a-lifetime moment became a different kind of ‘special’ when his bride-to-be decided to prank him.
Megan Martin devised probably the most hilarious prank ever for the couple’s ‘first look’ wedding pics by sending Logan’s best man in her place.
Dressed in a beaming white gown, best man Ryan Sowder delighted everyone when he walked down the aisle.
Ryan, who was more than happy to collaborate with the bride, told Fox News: “When Megan asked me to do this prank on Logan there was no way I could turn it down.”
The groom was caught by surprise. In fact, he was so taken off guard that the images showing his reaction are now doing the rounds on the internet.
“I was building with anticipation the whole time I was outside waiting for Megan,” he said.
“When I turned around and saw Ryan, I couldn’t help but to double over with laughter. Seeing your best man in a wedding dress is not a situation you can be prepared for. I was completely shocked.”
In the now-viral photos, the two buddies can be seen laughing and rejoicing, with the best man placing his hands over heart like someone who’s madly in love.
Even though Ryan wearing the wedding dress would have been the last thing Logan could think of, he admitted that the best man was totally rocking it.
“All-in-all, I think he wore the dress well,” Logan told Fox News.
The heartwarming images were snapped by Kristina Herman, who is the owner of K Herman Photography.
Herman also loved the unique photoshoot which she says was really one-of-a-kind. “It was awesome!” she said.
After the prank plotted by the bride was a success, the groom finally got to see her as she walked down the aisle in her gorgeous lace gown.
