Mick Barber, father of Charlotte Walton passed away a few months before her daughter’s wedding.
However, that didn’t stop her daughter Charlotte from having her dad by her side on her big day as she went ahead and made his ashes as a part of her manicure.
Charlotte. 26 got married to her, now, husband Nick, 33 in August. She is the mother of two who always dreamt of having her dad walk her down the aisle.
However, her dreams were devastated when she discovered that her father was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Even Mick wanted to be there on her special day too.
This is the reason why Charlotte’s nail artist Kristy suggested the idea of adding her dad’s ashes into the nail-do. That made Charlotte’s eyes teary and she found the idea “really sweet.”
Since we are talking about Kristy, you should know that she has a million followers on Instagram and according to Charlotte, “if anyone could do it,” it would be her.
As Charlotte told the press, Mick was a responsible and loving father to her who used to fulfill all her wishes. Even if he refused to do anything at first, he would feel bad about it and do it later.
She and Nick, both were heartbroken when they discovered when her father could not watch them getting married. Then again, having his ashes attached to the nails made her feel like he was holding her hand all alone.
Kristy shared his creation with the world as she created a YouTube video of the bride’s manicure. She used the tiny bits of bone she could find in the ashes and decorated the nails with crystals with acrylics.
Even though the nails fascinated everyone, they touched Charlotte’s heart and she framed them so that they last with her forever.
