A bridezilla has gone viral after an alleged family member shared the story of how she canceled her wedding and spent $30,000 she received in donations on early honeymoon.
As the informer claimed on Reddit, the bride whose wedding they were invited to got canceled. So far, so good.
In her message to the supposed attendees, however, the bride also said she would be using all of the money her friends and family members donated to make her dream wedding come true to enjoy a lavish vacation apparently worth $30,000.
Not only that, but she also had the audacity to tell them they will be able to donate again for the “new wedding.
”The story was backed up by screenshots of the conversation the bride had with angry relatives on Facebook after her announcement hit them hard. While some have suggested that the entire story could have been faked, others said something like this really does happen in real life.
Here’s what the bride allegedly wrote:
Needless to say, the invitees were less than pleased with the bridezilla’s decision to spend the money they donated for her wedding on a lavish vacation.
“Is this a ****ing joke???? After raking in $30k you decide to be greedy and use it all for yourselves?” Groom’s family member wrote.
“You aren’t responding to my calls or texts so I’m just going to tell you: You are to return my more than generous $12,000 donation on behalf of the […] family in one week. If on 11/13/2019 I do not see the money, IN CASH, in my bank account, I will be seeing you in court. This is unacceptable and is betrayal towards your family members,” the bride’s uncle added.
As things heated up, the bride continued to defend her decision and called her relatives various names as they asked to get their money back.
Later on, she once again addressed all of the invitees and added:
