Robin Shattock, Imperial College London’s head of the department of infection and immunity, has recently stated that the team is set to begin their work for the testing vaccines on the animals as fast as possible.
It’s apparently expected to begin from next week onwards.
The team is hoping to make things better for humans who might get affected by this deadly coronavirus.
Sources have also claimed that the team is set to take up some conventional approaches right before getting to the clinic.
They have been getting a set of candidates in the laboratory within the next 14 days.
They are going to have some animal models by next week’s beginning.
Their next move is to begin right from animal testing to human studies.
Professor Shattock has been a significant part of the effort for developing one vaccine which might have some potential benefits of saving a thousand lives affected by the deadly coronavirus.
China has already suffered a lot from this deadly virus.
Even, there was a recent report that a medic was found dead in his dormitory.
Thankfully, the Imperial College London has come up with such good news. Initially, it was China which announced that it would soon start off with some experimental trial for helping to find out the most effective treatment for this coronavirus.
Wuhan, the city where this virus began spreading, is the place where the treatment is taking place.
As a matter of fact, there are about 270 patients suffering from coronavirus, and treatments are given to them.
While the drug has reportedly not been approved by the country’s drug regulators, New England Medicine Journal claims it to be really effective because it has already helped a man in Washington who was suffering from novel coronavirus.
Let’s now see how the cure gets introduced to the world!
