Recently, two children were with their 69 years old grandmother who was driving another woman to the hospital on Thursday.
Nita Coburn’s grandchildren were sitting on the back seat of the car, and she was helping 24 years old Dalvir Singh into the emergency room.
Some suspects tried to kidnap the 10-year-old girl, but her 8-year-old brother saved her by pulling her back inside the car.
When the girl was trying to jump out of the car to escape the suspects who held her by her hoodie, the boy quickly opened the door to escape them. The boy pulled her away, and they both suddenly tumbled out of the moving car.
Nita didn’t realize that the grandchildren are not in the car as she was chasing the vehicle. According to the CCTV footage of the area, Nita was trying to chase the suspects, but they drove away really fast.
When the officers took charge of the situation, they found Singh, who is a 24-year-old man from India and is addicted to heroin. He was taken in custody as there were two kidnapping cases already on him.
The police chief Rodney Muterspaw said that the little boy is nothing but a hero in our eyes as because of him the girl is safe today. It is impressive that he quickly thought of saving her without being concerned about himself.
It is just a great step taken by the young boy at this age. The police chief also appreciated the police officers who caught the suspects and brought them in for conducting such crimes.
It is incredible to see that the 8-year-old boy was able to take such a quick action at a crucial time to save his sister from being kidnapped.
