When the father of a bride unexpectedly passed away just before her wedding, her brother planned the perfect way to redeem their huge loss.
Everything was going great before Andrea’s marriage and she was looking forward to sharing the happiness of her big day with all his loved ones. But, unfortunately, her father lost his life to cancer just days before he had to walk her down the aisle!
To fill the huge void created by the death of Andrea’s loving father, her brother planned a heartfelt, first-dance tribute on her big day.
During the reception, he took the mic ahead of what would have been the father-bride first dance and said: “We’re missing someone pretty important this evening that would be, obviously, here for the dance with his little girl.”
“So, I decided I wanted to do something special for Andrea and not only for Andrea but for dad,” he continued.
Her brother then revealed he had recorded “Butterfly Kisses,” a special song between the bride and her father, in his own voice to commemorate her big day.
Andrea was absolutely stunned but she would have never imagined what was coming next!
He then announced that the men of the family would take turns to dance with her so as to fill in for her father.
Andrea had by then broken into tears!
The bride kept fighting her tears as the senior gentlemen of the family danced with her.
But she totally lost it when her brother came forward to welcome her into his arms.
And it was not just the siblings who were swept off with the emotion, the guests present there were also moved to tears!
