A high-class bunny was caught on camera as she was being served nuts while flying in business class together with her owner.
While most people never get to fly in the first class, Coco the 8-year-old bunny has already experienced the luxury as she traveled abroad with her loving owner, Takako Ogawa.
As the 32-year-old businesswoman revealed, she flew from San Francisco back to her native Japan when she decided she wanted her beloved Coco to accompany her in person.
In order to get United Airlines to let Coco accompany her in business class, Takako registered her bunny as an emotional support animal.
Since no one happened to sit next to her on the 11-hour flight, Coco was also able to get her own seat much to the amusement of flight attendants who served her nuts and croissants.
As Ogawa explained, her bunny was the real star among the staff whereas they allegedly came to see her whenever they had the time.
“This is one of my favorite flights I’ve ever had. There’s nothing like being able to take your bunny on the plane. She was very curious and was hopping around,” Ogawa said.
“She’s usually very good. She’s very calm being surrounded by people and in a different environment, so she took it really well. When I got my own ice cream sundae, the flight attendant looked over and asked if the rabbit wanted anything.
“I wasn’t sure what the rabbit could have, but she got some of the toppings like almonds and nuts and they put it on a very small plate for her. It was adorable. She did enjoy them. She was very happy.”
As the businesswoman admitted, she did have some concerns about the flight prior to take-off. However, she claimed Coco behaved well and didn’t leave her business class cubicle.
“One thing I was very worried about was her toilet situation, so I brought a lot of pet sheets in her cart. But otherwise I think it was all good,” she added.
