Caitlyn Jenner was eliminated from the show ‘I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and like every other contestant she was hoping to see her family greeting her after making exit from the jungle.
The 70-year-old star’s partner Sophia Hutchins who has not landed in Australia wanted someone to be there when Caitlyn crosses the famous bridge but unfortunately, no one from Jenner or Kardashian’s family reached there.
She was upset and during the chat, she admitted to missing her children and grandchildren. All the contestants of the show are greeted by their family members after elimination but no one from Caitlyn’s family arrived to receive her.
James Haskell knew about Sophia’s wish and he met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge. He has previously described the former Olympic athlete as his “jungle wife.”
Speaking to The Sun Online, a source explained: “James met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge.”
“He sat with her for the entire leaving process – he asked to do it to make sure she had someone.”
Caitlyn was teary-eyed after not seeing any family member but she was relieved to James behind the photographers exclaiming: “It’s you!” before embracing her former campmate.”
They both arrived back at the Palazzo Versace Hotel, where the other eliminated campmates – including Adele Roberts, Cliff Parisi, and Andrew Maxwell welcomed her in reception.
Later, Caitlyn posted an Instagram story revealing Sophia had surprised her in the hotel room.
She told fans: “When I got out of the jungle, I’ve got a lot of friends there, but I had a big surprise when I got to the hotel. Sophia’s here! Yay!”
Sophia has been very protective of Caitlyn when the latter was in the jungle. She previously slammed GMB host Piers Morgan for asking “bulls**t questions” about their relationship.
