Caitlyn Jenner will fly to Australia next week to star in the ITV series ‘I’m A Celebrity’ after ITV bosses agreed to a whopping £500,000 fee – one of the biggest fees in its history!
The 70-year-old star was married to Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris, and producers hope that the world’s most famous transgender woman will reveal some secrets of the family.
“She’s such a huge name and a great get for producers,” said an ITV source.
“ITV think she is one of their best ever signings. It’s a real bolt from the blue. They’ve asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right.”
After winning gold in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics, Caitlyn was referred to as the ‘world’s greatest athlete.’
She has a total of 6 children with three successive wives – Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson and Kris Jenner.
The star has appeared on the reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashian with Kris, daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and Kris’ other children Khloe, Kim, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian.
It was in April 2015 when Caitlyn decided to come out as a transgender woman. In July of that year, she also publicly announced her new name.
She is now dating a 23-year-old model, Sophia Hutchins.
Other famous celebs set for the jungle include rugby’s James Haskell, football’s Ian Wright, EAstEnder Jacqueline Jossa, and former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle.
“Any names are speculation until we officially announce our line up,” said ITV.
One internet user commented: “Is that the athlete Bruce Jenner, he was good, tbh never of a Caitlyn.”
Another wrote: “She does look good for a 70 year-old.”
A third added: “This is life changing ….”
