A 6-year-old boy was reportedly shot and killed in a horrifying road rage attack in California recently.
According to local media outlets, the child’s boy was stuck with a bullet as he was riding in the back seat of his mother’s vehicle while on his way to his Kindergarten.
The young victim was identified as little Aiden who was riding innocently in his mother’s Chevy Sedan when the tragic incident took place on Friday morning on State Route 55, near Orange, California.
According to police officers, a gunman was reportedly observed traveling in a white-colored car and is yet to be captured by officers.
Some Good Samaritans who reportedly stopped over to assist in the incident mentioned how the mother had reportedly shown her middle finger and flipped off at the driver of the white-colored vehicle as he had reportedly cut her off while driving.
Therefore, the accused driver began following her and then opened fire upon her vehicle. Tragically, the bullet went ahead and slammed through her car’s truck and rammed into the 6-year-old child’s back.
Meanwhile, California’s Highway Patrol Officer named Florentino Olivera mentioned to KTLA-TV how the incident was an obvious case of an isolated road rage accident between two drivers, and in this case, it happened to be the child’s mom and an alleged gunman.
Little Aiden was immediately pronounced dead upon arrival at Orange County’s Children’s Hospital. At that point in time, authorities failed to release his actual name.
The passersby pulled over and noticed the mum being awfully distressed and that’s when they realized her son had been critically wounded. She made attempts to immediately remove him from the backseat, hoping for a miracle but he collapsed to the ground as he was dead.
Similarly, other motorists stopped to assist, which included another police officer who happened to be off-duty on that day. He even went ahead and performed CPR upon the young child before paramedics arrived. But the boy was already dead.
