Singing with Céline Dion is one of the life-long dreams for the singers not only in Canada but in the United States.
And appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show was also a dreams-come-true moment for singers because The Oprah Winfrey Show was one of the most popular in the world when it was on-air.
In 2010, The Canadian Tenors (they changed their name to The Tenors) appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The Canadian Tenors are a vocal group. They started the group in 2007 and have performed on more than 60 international television programs.

Like many other artists, Céline Dion had been an idol for them. They dreamed singing with or even meeting Céline on stage. However, even with their three years of singing career, they hadn’t met her in any place.
The Canadian Tenors prepared “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, one of their most popular songs, on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Oprah set up a surprise for them.
In the video below, when The Tenors started to sing “Hallelujah,” Céline Dion prepares to go on the stage.
After the first verse, the door behind the tenors opens and Céline comes out to join them.
Even though the audience applauses as she appears, the tenors doesn’t know that she’s on stage until they see her. Their reactions are precious. When they see Céline on stage with them, all of the members’ eyes open wide and show the unbelievable reaction.

What’s more unbelievable is their impromptu harmony.
I couldn’t believe this was their first time singing together because they were so good. It looks like they have been one team for years!
This performance was included in the Céline Dion’s documentary about the superstar’s life, “Céline Through The Eyes of the World.” Oprah and Céline collaborate together to make this special stage but the Tenors had no clue that they are on the documentary.
