Elderly woman goes on angry ‘vodka-fuelled’ flight rampage

A Spanish woman was banned from the airline mid-flight by the captain after she started screaming and swigging from a hipflask after boarding the Lisbon-to-Malaga TAP flight packed with British tourists.
A British tourist, 38, wanted Pepsi but she was told only fruit juice was being served as a mid-flight drink.
The woman then went on a tirade and started screaming and swigging from a hipflask.
A witness said: ‘She was getting out of her seat, her face was bright red. Her hands had turned into claws. She looked like a demon. She was the worst passenger I have ever seen on an airline and I fly quite a lot.’
‘The way she was acting – it was like she was possessed.’
‘She was so p*****. She was sat near the fire exit and I was worried she was going to try and pull something. She was literally not in control of herself.’
‘I was speaking to passengers afterward and the flight she was on before, she was p**** on that too. So for her to be on that second flight, she was putting everyone in danger. ‘
The witness said the woman wanted to mix the drink with the contents of her hip flask: ‘We were all like why is she so insistent on that, but it turned out it was because she wanted to mix it. She was the last one to board, everyone was waiting and she was at the front of the plane.’
‘I noticed her because when she was trying to get to her seat she fell backwards onto another passenger. When we were lifting off she was kicking off about having to put her bag in the hold.’
‘Stewardesses were telling her you to have to put it away but she was like ‘no’. She started speaking English and said ‘I have my books, I have my jewellery, I have my money in there – I need my bag.’
After fellow passengers complained about her behaviour, the captain banned her from the airline mid-flight and she was arrested when they landed.
