We understand how expensive fuel is getting every day but the concern that is even major than this one is the fuel is reducing each day and the day is not far away when we would not have any fuel to fill our cars or for that means, to provide any source of energy.
So what is that one energy source that we are sure will never end? Yes, it is the sun.
This is why here is a car created by Lightyear, a Dutch car maker which is said to be the first car to run long-range on an energy source that is free, sunlight.
According to the maker the car can run on sunlight for 12,400 miles in one year. Which means a person can save a fortune they must have spent on gas.
Lightyear 1 was launched in the market on this Tuesday and if you are at all interested in buying this fantastic car which falls in the price range of €149,000 – around £134,000 then you would have to pay a reservation fee of €119,000 because for now, there are only 500 sample cars available.
According to a report, an average motorist goes on for 7,134 miles in a year and this car can go on for free for almost double of this.
The 5 square meters of solar panels that cover the roof and bonnet can get the car charged up full to cover about 450 miles in once. This means even if there is no sunlight and the day is dark, the car will still be able to go on for 450 miles.
This car is a massive invention that is definitely great for the environment as well. Get your hands on this fabulous car before it goes out of availability.
