Cara Delevigne just confirmed her relationship with Ashley Benson as they celebrated their first anniversary.
Three days after the 26-year-old model shared a short video of her on Instagram pulling Benson in to share a smooch, Delevigne confirmed their status.
She told E! News that she decided to share the video in honor of the Stonewall Riots’ 50th anniversary and also her 1-year anniversary with Benson.
“I don’t know because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know,” Delevigne told the outlet. “It’s been just about our one-year anniversary so, why not?”
Even though she revealed her relationship with 29-year-old Benson, the model still refused to put a title on their romance.
“Sure, I don’t like the official thing, but it’s a little something,” she expressed.
At the gala, the actress was honored with the Hero Award for her strong support for The Trevor Project’s mission of putting an end to suicide among LGBTQ people.
Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness introduced Delevigne and she later took the stage. She then delivered a heartfelt speech in which she thanked Benson for her support.
“I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are,” Delevigne said. “She’s one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought.”
She also finished her loving speech by calling her girlfriend by her nickname. “I love you, Sprinkles.”
Delevigne was first photographed sharing a kiss with Benson on August 14 after they landed at Heathrow Airport in London.
