The month of love has already started and now only a few days are left to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
If you are thinking about what to give your loved one on 14 February then your search ends here as KFC and Moonpig have something in store for everyone.
Moonpig has launched its limited edition series of cards which will be a perfect gift for chicken and gravy lovers. The company has joined forces with KFC and created a bizarre Valentine’s Day card which smells just like chicken.
There are eight designs and the cards come with a range of adorable puns such as ‘fancy a peck’ and ‘we got together like chicken and gravy’, ‘I love you (almost) more than KFC.’
The more cheeky chaps out there, they “You’re a snack, wanna cluck?” or “Tonight, the chicken comes first” designs will suit you best. “You are Finger Lickin good” card has scratch ‘n’ sniff technology, so you can give your crush a romantic smell of KFC’s iconic fried chicken.
The cards are on sale until February 14 and ten per cent of the proceeds from the sales of the cards will also be donated to the KFC Foundation.
This is not the first amazing collaboration from KFC in recent days as the fast-food chain announced it was joining forces with Pizza Hut to create a popcorn chicken pizza. A staggering 20,000 KFC popcorn chicken pizzas were ordered during its launch day. Pizza Hut and KFC’s popcorn chicken pizza has sold out in just one day.
Both the companies launched the limited-edition pizza, which features a gravy base on a classic crust, strewn with mozzarella cheese and then sprinkled with KFC’s popcorn chicken and sweetcorn. Incredible.
KFC and Pizza Hut did not tell when their new invention will be back in stores, but they notified fans to keep an eye on its social media channels.
