Cardi B will be a part of the upcoming Fast and Furious movie.
The news was broke by Vin Diesel in an Instagram video, revealing that the 27-year-old rapper will star in the franchise’s next installment.
Cardi’s role hasn’t been disclosed yet but it’ll reportedly be a small one, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“Day 86 here on the set of Fast 9,” Vin says in the Instagram video. “I know I’m exhausted. I literally — we all gave every single thing we could for this movie. Put it all on the table. Put it all out there.”
“I’m tired,” Cardi chips in. “But I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is gonna be the best one.”
“We’re so blessed,” Vin replies. “The last day of filming in the U.K. All love always.”
“Yup,” Cardi adds. “I need to take a nappy nap.”
Sharing the video, Vin wrote in its caption: “Last day in the UK! Pa mi Gente… #Fast92020 #Fatherhood”
Fast 9 will be Cardi’s first movie after Hustlers, in which the Press singer worked alongside Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Lili Reinhart, and Keke Palmer.
Cardi hasn’t yet revealed any details about her new role on any social media platform. Earlier this week, she posted a picture of herself with her husband Offset.

A few weeks before, Cardi revealed at The Ellen Show that she’d be soon taking a movie, adding that she “enjoy[s] the checks.”
“I couldn’t believe I was on set for 16 hours,” Cardi said of the effort which goes into a movie. “It’s like, ‘Is this what actors and actresses gotta go through?’”
“Artists, we have long days but it’s just full of excitement. We move around, we doin’ something,” the mum-of-one added, noting how acting is so different from music.
“[Acting], you like, you gotta wait on the trailer until it’s your turn. You gotta do the same scene 20 times.”
The I Like It singer is also dispensing her duties as the host of Rhythm + Flow, Netflix’s new music competition show, alongside Chance the Rapper and T.I.
Cardi is becoming famous for the striking remarks which she frequently passes while judging contestants, saying in a clip: “They pay me to be mean, you know.”
“You really surprised me because you look like you work at Best Buy,” she said to another person. “You’re not going to L.A. You can go to Jersey,” she told yet another contestant.
