There are plenty of benefits of going all-meat in your diet.
That’s exactly what Joe Rogan has done to build his physique. He recently showed off his ripped physique when he lost 12lbs after following the carnivore diet.
In the quest to get fit, the comedian has been following a strict diet that includes cutting out all the vegetables, grains, nuts, fruits and seeds from the diet. He shifted to animal-based food like meat, fish, eggs and some other dairy products as well.
Rogan decided to take charge of his body when he last stepped on the weighing scale amidst a podcast last year. He weighed around 205lbs on which he said that it’s the fattest he has ever been.
The 52 years old comedian admitted that it was a kind of wacky experiment to follow a carnivore diet, but it surely brought success. He posted a video on his Instagram profile showing his trimmed torso.
He said that he had followed a carnivore for all January and have lost 12 pounds and gained tons of energy. Joe added that his energy levels were flat the whole month, with no ups and downs.
Joe recalled his days of being a fat body. He had He a belly and people used to make fun of his body and often body-shamed him.
He said that he had lost his fat, he has lost his belly, he has not yet decided whether he would continue with the diet, but its effects were tremendous.
He added that initially, he thought this carnivore diet is a wacky though and wasn’t sure about its outcome. But, once he started witnessing the results, he was delighted with his decision.
Though he overcame some challenges throughout this carnivore diet journey, like severe diarrhea, he continued with his plan until he saw the success.
