How do you prank a celebrity? You need to take lessons from YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners because they just pulled off a most impressive prank where Carole Baskin, made famous because of Tiger King, thought it was Jimmy Fallon interviewing her.

The pranksters pulled one over Carole by pretending they get celebrities interviewed by chat show hosts. But what they’re actually doing is they’re using recorded clips of questions that talk show hosts asked real celebrities.

Josh and Archie start off by promising they would not bring up Netflix or Tiger King to which Carole joked that being introduced as “that b**** Carole Baskin” would be a bummer.

First, they explain the details of their trick involving the interviewee speaking into a webcam. They explain away the reason for the host not being visible with something like “they’re being filmed with proper NBC cameras.”

They then request Carole to “check the sound” by listing the cats she looks after then they lead her into the “interview.”

Carole then begins by saying her daughter convinced her to do the interview and that they are still caring for the cats together. The pranksters even got her to say the famous “Hey all you cool cats and kittens” intro.

People were floored at how they managed to pull it off.

One person commented: “I didn’t think they could top the Katie Hopkins prank…”

Another replied: “This is literally the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen.”

But Carole seems to have gotten wise to the prank later on.

She commented below the video: “This is the email I sent to my husband and daughter after the interview: ‘Well, that was weird. I couldn’t see Fallon during the interview, and when they had his voice on the questions they didn’t sound like it was specific to the topic.

‘He’d just say things they could have recorded from any other interview; like – what are you doing during Quarantine?

‘At the end, he said: ‘Miss you buddy,’ so that really didn’t sound like it was live from him to me.

‘They did stick to the questions they gave us, so I just can’t tell. This whole thing may have been a spoof and they said they won’t broadcast till next week and will let us know before they do, but I’m not holding my breath.'”

Looks like there’s no fooling the Tiger Queen!
