Isn’t it funny that an infant knows the difference between a professional singer and a self-proclaimed one? It becomes very easy for your baby to prefer your singing over your partner when you are an American Idol champion.
Mike Fisher and his wife, Idol winner and country star Carrie Underwood’s baby Jacob was in tears when his father started singing.
The hilarious video was shared by Carrie herself and the clip shows Mike is attempting to calm down their 5-month-old son Jacob with his best rendition of Vince Gill’s “I Still Believe in You.”
She captioned the video: ‘’Everyone’s a critic.’’
Well, the plan failed as Jacob starts crying hearing his father singing but as soon as his mother Carrie took over, he stops crying and immediately turned toward his mom and hear her singing calmly.
“The real reason is he was hungry and wanted your food. #notmysinging,” Mike playfully commented on the post.
But Mike was not ready to accept the defeat as he tries again to sing and once more baby Jacob burst into tears.
The video is adorable yet funny to watch the singing competition between mom and dad and the funniest part is Jacob listens her mom singing without crying but when his father attempts to sing, he shows his disappointment through tears.
Justin Timberlake also found the video funny and he commented: “This is the greatest thing I’ve seen all year.”
Social media users loved the video and one user wrote, “This is so funny. Thankfully Mike has other talents.”
‘’THE??CUTEST??THING??EVER ?’,’’ wrote another.
One user tried to cheer Mike writing, ‘’That is so adorable. Don’t feel bad Mike, he did just want mommy!!’’
Another wrote: ‘’Poor Mike. Jacob is tough critic. This like a old episode of Full House when Uncle Jesse listening to his wife sing to his twin sons.’’
