Meet Carrot, the very handsome boy who has become a viral sensation because he likes to stick his paw into the fridge.
Carrot has been adopted by his humans Andrew Taylor and Rachel Zardus and lives with them in Maryland.
The carrot was found as a little kitten at a gas station and was taken in by the duo’s good friend who works in an animal hospital. Taylor and Zardus took Carrot in foster and fell in love with him quickly, and soon, adopted him.
Pardus said that the couple never had a cat before but due to some reason, the name Carrot for their first cat seemed perfect. Along with Carrot, the couple also got the opportunity to adopt his big personality.
Pardus revealed that Carrot is really smart and loves to play. He is so much obsessed with playing that even when he is sleepy and any of them tries to engage with him, he would react.
Taylor added that Carrot also loves food. He is fed three times a day by his humans. He also noted that Carrot’s breakfast comes from the auto feeder but the cat cries for his #1 dinner and then for his #2 dinner.
However, this playful spirit causes trouble and his new amusing game is sticking his paw through the space found between the fridge door and the fridge when it is opened.
Pardus said that he likes to pass his arm through the fridge’s door as a game and then grabs whatever Carrot can reach. Then, he would claw at them standing on the other side of the fridge door so that they can playback with the cat.
And this is how this viral picture was captured. It was first posted on Carrot’s Instagram and later on Reddit where it gained decent interaction.
After that, it really exploded as it was shared across different social media platforms where millions of people liked it.
In case this sign worries you, well, just know that the couple has never closed the door with Carrot’s arm stuck like that and the note is simply a joke.
