Many adults would do anything just so that they could stay at home and watch cringe-worthy TV shows all day long.
If you’re one of those people as well, you probably know the show called Dr. Phil. Last winter, the series received a tremendous views spike and social media fame after a rebellious teenager made her appearance in the show.
Danielle Bregoli, now a 14-year-old girl, first appeared in the show as a completely out-of-control teenager.point 94 | Her mom accused her of carrying a knife, stealing a car, and framing her for drug possession.point 171 | Danielle, in return, bashed her mother in front of everyone and called her controlling and possessive.point 258 |
Even after receiving boos from the audience, Danielle didn’t give up on the tough-talking and came up with a sassy catchphrase ‘Cash Me Ousside (how ’bout dah).point 140 | ’point 143 | 1
Due to her outrageous behavior and a sharp tongue, Bregoli turned into an internet sensation soon after her appearance in the show. She has also been sent to the Turn-About Ranch where she was supposed to learn some manners and develop a sense of responsibility.
Danielle did her time and returned to the show. She didn’t back down on her sharp words and even told Dr. Phil that he should be thankful to her for making him famous. “I guess what’s good for you is – I made you just like Oprah made you. You were nothin’ before I came on this show,” the rebellious teen told Dr. Phil.
Following the episode’s airdate in April, Danielle was seen in a car with marijuana. It turned out that her mom’s initial accusations weren’t just for show.
In the meanwhile, entertainment industry realized that Bregoli maintains her fame despite not having any particular talents. She became a rapper known as Bhad Bhabie and came up with popular songs such as ‘I Got It,’ ‘These Heaux,’ and ‘Hi Bich.’ Danielle also scored a record deal with Atlantic Records.
Later in August, Danielle pleaded guilty to charges including car theft, possession of marijuana, and filing a false report. She was sentenced to five years probation.
Her father and a Sheriff Deputy, Ira Peskowitz, believes that Danielle is being used for entertainment purposes. “My daughter is being exploited. I’m afraid of what she’s being pushed into and who’s profiting from it,” told the Palm Beach Post.
Despite all of the chaos she caused, some believe that she is slowly but surely beginning to change. Danielle is working on her relationship with her mother and gifted her by paying off her mortgage amounting $65,000 for Christmas. Critics, however, remain convinced that this wasn’t an act of kindness.
While only time can tell what will happen to this infamous teen, it seems that she made her mom happy with her gift. Hopefully, she’ll get on the right track and manage to stay out of jail.
