A video of a cat comforting her crying owner is going viral on the Internet, leaving everyone in awe.

When Hima, a Russian Blue from Japan, saw its little owner crying as she had hurt her foot on a chair, it comforted its owner using her tiny paws.

The adorable video was posted on YouTube by Hardik’s Offbeat with the caption:

“Contrary to popular perception, cats can be as loving as other pets. Take, for instance, Hima, a cat from Japan who is currently winning hearts on social media for the way she comforts her crying owner. When Hima’s owner, a little girl, hurt her foot on a chair and started crying, she tried to comfort her with some loving cuddles.”.

The video is winning the Internet as it has received thousands of likes and shares. One user commented:

‘It’s crazy how cats can sense emotions like that. okay, my cat has this small ball that he loves. he carries it with him everywhere and that’s his toy to play with. I was crying yesterday and I haven’t cried in front of him ever (I had him for almost a year, his first birthday is coming up), and he ran away when I sagged down my hallway wall and let the tears fall.”

‘I thought he couldn’t stand my sadness putting a damper on his mood, but he ran back upstairs and dropped his ball in front of me and just looked at me. no more tears escaped. and he got treats.’
